Rush is a week of activities we have planned for you to get to know more about our fraternity and meet our brothers. Alpha Kappa Psi hosts rush twice every school year, once at the beginning of Fall quarter and once at the beginning of Spring quarter. A bid is an invitation to join Alpha Kappa Psi. After completing the rush process and interviews, our members vote on potential new members. If you receive a bid, it means we'd like to offer you the opportunity to begin the pledging process and eventually become a full member of our organization.

Absolutely! We encourage you to rush again in the next recruitment period. Use the time between recruitment cycles to strengthen your application, gain more experience, and continue developing your professional skills. Many successful members didn't receive a bid on their first attempt but were accepted in subsequent recruitment periods.
